Members Overview

The Members screen is the directory for everyone in your church. From here you invite new members, review join requests, filter the list, and open individual profiles.

The list view​

Members appear in a compact list showing:

  • Profile photo (avatar)
  • Name — with a YOU badge next to your own entry
  • Primary role (e.g. Pastor, Worship Leader, Biblical Guide, Member)
  • Membership status pill — Active, Pending, Suspended, or Inactive

Tap any row to open that member's detail screen.

Tabs​

Three quick-filter tabs above the list:

  • All — everyone in the church (respects search and filters)
  • Leadership — only members with a leadership role assigned
  • Active — only members whose status is Active

A name search is available at the top of the list. Type to filter the directory in real time by display name. A clear (×) button appears once you've typed something.

Search matches by name only. There's no built-in search by email, phone, join date, or role string from the search bar — use the filter sheet for role filtering.

Filter by role​

Tap the tune icon next to the search bar to open the filter sheet:

  • Pick one or more roles (Pastor, Elder, Deacon, Ministry Leader, Worship Leader, Youth Leader, Prayer Coordinator, Biblical Guide, Treasurer, Member, Visitor)
  • Active filters show as chips below the search bar — tap the × on any chip to remove just that filter
  • Clear All resets every filter at once

A small dot appears on the filter icon whenever any filter (search or role) is active.

Add a member​

The person-add icon (top right of the list) takes you straight to the Invite Members screen.

Pending join requests​

When someone requests to join via a general invite link, they land in Pending Members. Each pending request shows:

  • Name and initials avatar
  • Email (if provided)
  • Phone (if provided)
  • Requested-on date

You can Approve (instant access as a Member) or Decline the request from that screen.

Live updates​

The member list is backed by a reactive local store — new members, role changes, and status updates from other admins appear automatically without a manual refresh. Pull down to force a resync.
