Prayer Wall Overview
The prayer wall is a shared space for your members to post prayer requests and pray for each other. Each church has its own prayer wall — requests are scoped to the church and are not shared across churches unless explicitly posted as global.
What members can do
- Post a prayer request with a title, description, and category
- Post anonymously — their name is hidden from other members
- Scan a printed prayer using the OCR scanner (supports 12+ Indian languages)
- Pray for another member's request — a tap increments the "prayed" counter
- Comment on a prayer request
- Members are rate-limited on how many prayers they can post in a window, so they don't spam the wall
What admins can do
- View every prayer request posted to the church
- Delete any prayer (swipe left on a card, or use the three-dot button)
- Post a prayer directly from the moderation screen
- Search by member name or prayer text
- Filter by time: All, Today, This Week, This Month
- Pull to refresh, with a tombstone sync that removes deleted prayers from the local cache
Prayer categories
These are the categories members choose from when posting:

- Urgent
Anonymous posting
Members can tick Post Anonymously when they create a prayer. Their name is shown as "Anonymous" on the wall. Admins see the same anonymous label in the moderation screen.
Translation
Prayer text is rendered through a translatable text widget, so content in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, and other Indian scripts displays correctly using the Noto font fallback.
