Worship Overview

The Worship module is a shared song library plus a live presentation tool. Build up your songs once, then run any Sunday service from a phone, tablet, or desktop.

What's included​

  • Song Library — searchable list of your church's songs with lyrics, author, language, and auto-generated slides
  • Live Presentation — a three-pane slide view (Previous / Current / Next) with Go Live broadcasting to members
  • Auto-advance timer — hands-free slide advancement at 5s, 10s, 15s, or 30s intervals
  • Multi-language songs — each song has a language tag (English, Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, Marathi)
  • Indian script support — Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and Marathi lyrics render with proper fonts

Who can use it​

The Worship feature is available to roles whose permissions include worship:

  • Pastor / Church Admin — full access
  • Worship Leader — full access
  • Other leadership roles see Worship only if their role includes it (see Roles & Permissions)

Members use the companion Member app to follow along with the live presentation — they don't see Worship in Church Admin.

Key capabilities​

Add songs three ways​

  • Manual entry — type title, author, language, and lyrics
  • Scan Songbook (OCR) — point your camera at a printed songbook or pick a photo from the gallery; AI extracts the lyrics
  • Import from URL — paste a lyrics webpage; AI fetches, cleans the HTML, and fills in title/author/lyrics/language

Auto slide generation​

When you save a song, the lyrics are parsed into slides automatically. No manual slide layout needed.

Language tagging​

Each song carries a language code. Non-English songs show a language chip (TE, HI, TA, etc.) in the library for quick identification.

Live broadcast​

When you tap Go Live, slide changes are pushed to every member watching from the Member app in real time — sub-second latency on a good connection, with graceful fallback if the socket drops.
